Paper Airplane Competition

Mr Angomas was doing a paper airplane competition, to see who could throw this paper airplane the farthest.The winner of trial 1 was Gabriela Castrejon in 6th grade. She threw up to 26 and a half feet. On trial 2 Catherine Paz in 6th gradethrew up to 29 and a half feet. On the final trial 3 there was a tie it was Lizbeth and Bella tied 25 and a half feet they are in 6th grade. The graph shows the distance. The winners are Gabriela, Catherine, Bella, and Lizbeth.

Nadia Ezaldein Tragic Death

Nadia Ezaldein, 22, was a seasonal worker at Nordstrom, a downtown Chicago store. She was shot dead by Marcus Dee, 31, before he turned gun on himself.
Dee filed for protection against Ezaldein's sister, both applications denied.
Nadia could have been saved.but the judge didn't believe her story that her ex-boyfriend was going after her. I hate the fact that this so called judge who's supposed to give justice denied her application for protection after seeing this evidence.
Nadia Ezaldein, 22, was a seasonal worker at Nordstrom, a downtown Chicago store. She was shot dead by Marcus Dee, 31, before he turned gun on himself.
Protection order application filed on April 8 said Dee cracked her ribs, fractured her jaw, stabbed her with a switchblade and shoved a gun in her mouth.

The killing came seven months after she applied from a protection order after he allegedly broke her ribs, fractured her jaw and tore her clothing in a vicious attack

Top 10 Addictive Video Games

Let me tell you about the top ten addictive games this games may have some blood and are frustrating when you play it.
Number 10 Madden
for all you gaming football fans you have waited for this game forever. It was not in 1988 when they had created the first Madden video game, and that was created by apple 2. It was after a famous NFL football player, his name was John Madden. He was not only a coach but he was in the pro hall of fame by a winning super bowl coach. And now of days we are sitting in our couches playing Madden for this athletic sport game.
Number 9
Since data 2 was free online it did well like a sequel. This game is so addictive that you can stay hours of playing it just hours. But from all the games this is a multiplayer game so you can play with you friends and stay in your couch. So yea this game is so addictive that the time just pass when your having fun. Right…. or you can just mow the lawn to get money and by this game. Thats what i say a win win.

Aaa yes this game. Lots of cheats and lots of fun, and most importantly missions. Who knew gaming went this far a game of frustration and good graphics. While this game is full of violent and guns just like call of duty, you can have so much fun killing your friends over and over again. Wow Rockstar North you really impressed the games for us to play keep up the good work.

And i know what you're going to say about this game. Wow tetris graphics suck this game is bad. But this is like another form of flappy bird. You just have to win it all. Since this is a 1984 game and was past of until today we still play it today. It was not invented by a Russian scientists that came up with this puzzle game. This game is normally about connecting squares of the same color and gain points yea very entertaining.

This game is brought us two things, candy and a sequel of tetris. Yes you hear it here folks this game is just like tetris with match 3. And its free because its a puzzle 3 with cute little hansel and gretel eating the candy house of the witch. While this game was out first in your ipods and apps in 2012 it took some while for your computer to handle it. It had took 2 more years to release it. When some company had valued it for around 7.5 billion dollars.

Minecraft is a game filled of blocks. You can see chickens, cow, and nerdy villagers stealing your money. But not talking about that this is a game filled of addiction. You can go to the deadliest mine or built the Eiffel tower. Or you can just get diamonds to have the bling, with different kinds of ores to make into armor or travel to the places that you don’t even know. You will just say can i play more.? Unless you're a gaming fan and you like squares.

Ever Quest, a quest that never ends and multiple quest. Nah just joking this was released around 15 years ago around 1999 It did well when it was announced it is a game with a 3D form. This game is filled with classes during the game play. Like tank class that class is a class that makes you look fat and heavy. But not only that they try to make the enemies focus on them instead of someone else. Or like the warrior class that gives more damage to the opponent and many different classes that i can’t name.

The sims is such a game that you can make your own people and make stuff like having them emotions and giving them costumes to be jerky. It is just like having little pets but if you don’t they will die of course. Thats why this game is filled with addiction and having fun. While this game is normally giving your sims jobs and going to the moon. It is also taking care ranks. Those ranks tell you how good you are at something so that you can buy some technical complex stuff if you're an engineer or many other careers you want to be.

World of warcraft this is the 4th game that has been introduced. By the first one that was out in 1998. Probably the most game you play in your pc, it is normally like another game with missions and ranks. And since i don’t have enough to tell you about this but i can tell you. That ist is very majestic and a pretty long adventure and many people to come across in your gameplay.

You should all probably know this game by now but if you don’t then this game is called Call Of Duty. And i’m spelling it like that because so many people play this game. While this game is played in many systems like Xbox, or the PS4. The only thing that is cool to do is shooting and the guns while this game is violent i don’t dink so you would like to play this game if you're a little boy. But this game is filled with people choosing your own class and completing many missions that you will be thrilled with the graphics and everything.

Perspective: Violent Video Games

Though video games made their appearance in the 1970s, it wasn't until systems like the Sony PlayStation were released in the 1980s that violence became a problem. Along with these systems came the ability to make graphics more lifelike. The more lifelike they've become, the more interest there has been in the correlation between violent games and violent behavior. One of the primary concerns with violence in video games is that gaming is not passive. In order to play and win, the player has to be the aggressor.As the level of violence in video games has increased, so has concern for the effects on those who play - especially those who play a lot. Many are quick to point out that most school shootings in recent years have been carried out by avid gamers, and their games of choice were always dark and violent.Video game and Internet addiction usually point to other mental problems including anxiety, depression and trouble forming healthy relationships.
This is a picture of a game that is very popular with kids. Call Of Duty is a series with many games and is somewhat violent.

IAMS Girls Basketball Team Just Misses Playoff

One of the famous quotes that our coach Mr. Hughes says is” lets own the court”. As you can see from the score board I made the IAMS Pumas have won 5 games and then lost 3 games in this season. For the Playoffs so far there are 5 other teams that have 5 wins and 3 losses. The scores of the games determines who makes the playoffs. We might receive news on Friday the 23rd or sometime next week.
Update: We did not make the playoffs. They were picking the top 8 out of 21 and we were # 9 out of 21. But we were so close though. Now our season is over now.

Boys 5th/6th Grade Basketball Recap

The Pumas are on a 1-2 season. This game was against the Meyer Bulldogs. The first period went well for the Pumas. They were up 8 to 4, from some jump shots and a shot by Able Yolich while falling (which is called a floater.) Then onto the second period, this is when number 13 from the Meyer Bulldogs had about 5 fouls. In the third period the score was 10 to 12, a very close game for the third period. The Pumas started off with the ball for the fourth period. The Pumas passed it to Joseph Prestipino and a Meyer player crashed into him and he got two shots and made one of them so it was 11 to 12 with the Pumas down one. It was such a close game with such little time left. The Meyer Bulldogs had some real problems with fouls. They had a single player with 6 fouls (number 13.)
In the NBA to get ejected it takes 5 personal fouls, but in this league to get ejected it takes 7 fouls, so one more foul and he would have been out of the game. Number 13 had to play very carefully since he already had 6 fouls. Then onto the fourth period.The fourth period started out very calmly. No one was scoring, but as it got later into the fourth period both teams started scoring. A specific player had many fouls(number 13.) Near the end of the fourth period number 13 got ejected from the game with 7 FOULS!!! When he got ejected he had a very mad look on his face. At the end of the fourth period the Pumas lost by 6 points a final score of 15-21 for the Meyer Bulldogs. ;(
